You can open a Spanish Bank account irrespective of whether you are a resident or a visitor, however the accounts operate differently depending on your status. As our clients we will advise you on the best banks to choose for your account, as well as helping you to open your account.
You can also apply to the Spanish bank for a mortgage of up to 70% (subject to status, income etc) of the total purchase price of the property. There are some great rates on mortgages at the moment, please see our examples below. The rate of mortgage is based on 3.90% for the first 6 months, this rate is subject to change.
